The Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) is an international, non- profit organization of Internet leaders working to make the Internet safer for children. Web site owners can label web pages with labels that use the PICS system - the Platform for Internet Content Selection. The labels are placed within the head section of the documents and respond to Internet filtering software that use the PICS system. Pages with content that a user has set as unsuitable within the software or pages without labels will be blocked to the viewer.
